Leaving
Inside my head there was a crow
Deep in my heart there was a cry
I faked a weary smile
But my mouth was sour and dry
Blood spatter on a single page
That was the day
When my world got full of rage
Childish fear of a stone clown
not daring to stare or gaze
not even a blink, a drop of sweat
or a frown
my china world just like a vase
fell apart and broke down
It was never fear or even loss
It was simple hate
that drove my fate
A wake-up call in talk shows
A street sign and a fist fight
where brothers traded blows
My peaceful ancient land
is now
where violence and fanaticism roam
And that was the day when I left home
